Paytm has launched support for UPI Lite payments that allow customers to send real-time transactions on the app. These transactions are claimed to work even during peak transaction hours, when banks typically have lower success rates. UPI Lite is enabled by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) and allows customers to declutter their bank statements.
