Google defeated a lawsuit filed in a US court on Monday, that accused the company of collecting data of users who had opted out of sharing web activity on the browser. The lawsuit had alleged that Google tracked IP addresses and browsing history, even if users did not have a Google account, or if they had chosen not to synchronise their Google accounts with Chrome.
