A parliamentary panel on Thursday mooted a digital competition act aimed at reining in anti-competitive practices of Big Tech firms in India. Companies like Google, Facebook, Amazon, and Apple have faced scrutiny in the past and the government has been working to tighten regulation of these Big Tech firms.
