Google Chrome Safe Browsing feature has been updated with real time scanning for malicious URLs. The new privacy-preserving real-time link scanning mechanism for Google Chrome will check an encrypted version of a link that a user is visiting via an independently operated server, preserving user privacy, according to the company.
