MeitY Said to Conduct Quarterly Compliance Audit for Social Media Firms

The Ministry of Electronics and IT (MeitY) is said to conduct compliance audits of social media companies every quarter. In the quarterly audit, the government will verify if social media companies are reporting about grievances raised to them correctly. It will also keep a check on the actions being taken by the social media firms.
