While Apple is rumoured to be working on its augmented reality (AR) and mixed reality (MR) headset, iOS 16 has debuted with an updated Nearby Interaction framework that integrates the ultra-wideband (UWB) with ARKit to enable precise spatial awareness experiences. Separately, iOS 16 has allowed users to delete preloaded apps including Clock, Find My, and Health.
