Mitron app, an alternative to TikTok that quickly gathered a lot of attention, has now been removed from the Google Play store. At a time when TikTok was dropping in popularity due to growing anti-China sentiment, Mitron grew quickly when positioned as an ‘Indian’ app, but the origin of this app is actually more complicated.
