WhatsApp Group Admins Can Now Set 'Send Message' Permissions on Android, iPhone

Rolling out on WhatsApp beta version 2.18.201 for Android and version 2.18.70 on iPhone, the capabilities allow WhatsApp group admins to control participants' ability to send messages in the group.
